The definition of a Celtic Mystic would probably be “one who strives to practice the direct presence of and/or intimate union with the Divine through contemplation or ecstasy”.
This site seeks to bring together information from dozens of books and websites as well as my personal experiences and insights on the Celtic path. I draw upon Celtic traditions as varied as Druidry, Celtic Shamanism, Celtic Paganism, Christian Mysticism and Christian Gnosticism as well as wisdoms that are not historically Celtic but fit the Celtic way of seeing. In the spirit of more traditional mystic paths, I have tried to focus on inward change and experiencing Divinity rather than prayers and rituals which attempt to arrange outward circumstances.
