Evening Prayers
Scott Cunningham- Living Wicca
The moon illuminates the earth
With wondrous silver rays;
Illuminate me through the night
And through the sun-lit days.

Lord of the West, enthroned on the world's edge,
I pray to you at the end of the day,
Offering to you my day's actions
On the altar of the fiery sky.
Accept them; take them to yourself
Purifying me of my errors,
Blessing me in my good deeds.

Great blackness, promiser of mysteries, bringer of dreams:
Greetings to you, Mother Night, as you cast your blanket over the world!

The ship reaches its haven.
The wagon reaches its home.
Today's journey is over and all can rest.
Those who have guided the sun in its journey:
Thank you.
May you guide me as well.
